Pullet Eggs, Ever See One?
The last batch of chicks are grown, and out of the twenty that I bought, six were hens, just our luck! So they are getting ready to start laying. The first egg from a pullet is small, I guess its a practice run, but when you see em you know eggs are on the way.....the last eggs from a hen are small too! I guess it could go either way..lol.
The Egg on the right is the pullet egg, on the left a normal size chicken egg! This hen should be pumping out large eggs soon, Can't wait!

How about that. My chicks turned 3 weeks today. Not sure just when they'll lay their first one. Enjoyed visiting your blog. Not sure what I'd do if a goose appeared in my yard.
